3I have worked for Vision Sciences for 8 years. The company as a whole has great products but poor management. The Engineering staff is very complainant but not correctly unitized. There are about 70 people employed at VSI. Over the years the work environment as deteriorated and is not a good place to work. The company has never been profitable.
2.8Great work/life balance. Good technology and a great social environment.The people are excellent and the offices are really nice.The technology is really good and interesting to work on. By far the biggest problem is in the director level. Old, inflexible and long term people who resist change and make life hard for those who want to change.These people are also responsible for much of the political infighting. Too bad too because if they would stop fighting and stop caring only for themselves.
2.9Great employees but very poor management. The management does not care for the company but only for themselves and does a very poor job of managing the company.Too much political infighting.The CEO is very good but unfortunately the owner meddles too much and that negates any work done by the CEO.Very poor outlook.
