"The Department Heads at Virginia College was fantastic. Upper management did not monitor changes in the market impacting the college. The significant drop in student count and governmental regulation changes drove financial issues, which caused the college to close."

"The VCCS is a good company - overall - to work for. They are fair and equitable to their employees. Salaries tend to run a little lower than the national norm, and raises are like hen's teeth."

"I had a wonderful PD who had some issues with the Dean, and when she contacted HR, she was fired. After that, I was left with no one to protect me from the Dean and his politics. I was passed over for four positions. The students in my program were mistreated. It was not a good environment."
