"This was one of the worst jobs I ever had. I was mislead into taking the position. When I got there it was clear all this company was in business for was to find a way to eliminate jobs in the United States and send them to India. What they called a Project Manager was more like an Administrative Assistant."

What don't you like about working at Vertex Business Services?

"Constant management issues and departures at the executive level. Lack of investment into products, technology and employees. Lack of leadership and proper strategy. Atmosphere of mistrust between executive management and levels below. Uncertain long term future of the products and organization"

"Consider an employee buy-out of the investor owners and investor placed management."

"The ability to work independently and as a team member without experiencing micro-management from Vertex Executives."

"For professionals positions, the Company works more via referrals so have another employee help you work the Vertex system."

"Little opportunity for career growth."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"When you have an employee with good work ethics and a good track record, especially with clients, cultivate that individual to become what you are looking for when the Company changes strategic directions. Turnover of professional staff comes at a tremendous financial cost to the Company. When new management (acquisition) occurs, too many times new management wants to make personnel changes and terminations without evaluating the quality of their existing employees and perhaps re-training those individuals to execute the new strategy."
