What do you like about working at Verizon Communications?

"I like that I got to speak and interact with those around me, build relationships, and help people on product knowledge. There was some satisfaction in the fact that I had helped someone make a decision that best suited them, no matter how important that decision may or may not have been."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Interviewing skills are pretty universal. Be confident, sell yourself, and show the company that you want more than a job. You want an opportunity to become an asset, and--most importantly--show that you are ready to work."

What don't you like about working at Verizon Communications?

"There were some management and scheduling issues. The rewards weren't very rewarding, and that is something I expect for a sales position. Input should always equal output."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Make the environment more rewarding. Give us a reason for sales. Make the team be a team. There was no group effort or drive. I feel like that is important."
