"Overcoming the work traditions of the past when we were a different company, getting people on board with change."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Narrow the focus to key competencies, eliminate distractions from projects that are not part of our key competencies. Being innovative does not have to mean being all things to our clients."

"Toxic work environment. The It department relies heavily on offshore staff that have minimal technical skills and horrible spoken/written English skills. But that doesn't matter as the entire staff is also for over there and they don't bother speaking in English even with their America colleges. When this was brought to the supervisors attention he was 'outraged' that this would be an issue. Of course he is from abroad also."

"I've worked with Verisk Health, for approximately 3 years now. The company never knows which direction its going, and refuses to accept that it has to spend money on its people and get more HELP. There is far to much middle management, and nobody knows who does what. HORRIBLE company, Great Teams."
