"I thought that Vector was a great company to work for. Especially since there is so many growth opportunities within the company. This company is a great place to work for college students."
"Vector is a great company to work for. I loved my boss, and the overall work environment."
"I’ve worked at Vector since 2014. What started off as a part-time job to help with the school ended up becoming one of the greatest decisions I’ve made in my early career. The schedules are flexible at the sales rep position with great compensation, especially with a high output. The skills I learned as a manager from budgeting, negotiation, time management, breaking goals down properly, teaching other students how to sell and running my own office are ones I’ll never forget."
"I’ve worked for Vector Marketing since June of 2017. Once started I earned 5 promotions my first 10 days on the job and won a free trip to Jamaica. The management team around me was super encouraging and supportive. I stayed with the company for another two years perfecting my craft and getting to know the ins and outs of running a business. The job was the best stepping stone someone could ask for and it opened my eyes to what I can achieve in my life. I wouldn’t trade the experience for anything!"
"Working for vector marketing has been an incredible experience however some complications with my manager have led me to seek other employment options. The work is exceptional but some of the manager's have been unhelpful."
"Vector Marketing is a sales rep company that sells Cutco products; kitchen knives; flatware; fishing knives; KBAR knives; pocket knives; and gardening tools. These are the best quality in the world with an exclusive “Double DD” edge to keep their knives sharp for years to come and with their “Forever guarantee” if you ever dull, chip, break, melt, damage, or unhappy with your present knives send it in and pay shipping to receive a brand new sharpened knife. They’re a brand you can pass down generation to generation while still keeping your kitchen sharp and clean."
"After working with Vector Marketing for a month, I found it to be a great way to enter the real working world. You got to set your own goals and be held accountable to them. Furthermore, the pay is purely on your ability to sell and to contact the right people. However, the environment is too stressful at times. Phone jams are the worst parts of the week."
"06/2013 - 08/2013 I had to leave this wonderful job due to me having to catch up on my school work. But during the time i was there ive learned alot and enhanced my skills.this job was not tellamarketing and we could not sell the product via phone only in person a meeting is to be set up by phone, item tracking, customer service as well. • Item management • Item set up (was not needed but loved to do so) • Time management • Team work • Customer services (phone/in person) • Communication • Eye"
"Not a good company, really not fair to employees."
"Great opportunity for young people. Allowed me to graduate college debt free with skills few have."
"I have worked with Vector for 2 years and is a company I would not work for again, don't care about their employees, no support for field techs, expect us to pay to finish a job with a month to get reimbursed, also no vehicles for employees and won't pay for tools that you have broken on their job, want you to pay, then get reimbursed, just don't really care for a tech, for out for themselves. Many of jobs I never got training for, I do extron work but never been trained, same for crestron, just poor company."
"I've worked for Vector Marketing since November and it has been a great and beneficial experience. Although the pay is base commission plus incentives, I've been greatly satisfied with my sales skills and communication ability. My professionalism and attitude has improved tremendously and I am grateful for that. I would like to take these skills I've attained from Vector Marketing to get a salary job within a growing company where I can succeed."
