"I've worked for Vacasa since July 2017. I've found it to be a great place to work and to become a much more experienced engineer. I've had fully support starting directors to closer colleges since day one, even when the company received a substantial flow of cash from investor and the number of employees doubled its size. Vacasa is an ethical company that generously care for their employees. The benefits and salaries are competitive and reviews are conducted every quarter to make sure everyone is compensated fairly."

"Nice people, but incredibly unorganized. Senior management was never on the same page as to what projects are a priority. Communication from that senior management was poor, and the manner in which they laid off their employees because of COVID-19 was completely disrespectful."

"In my time at Vacasa the company went through fast growth. Change was the only constant. Work /life balance were always valued and my coworkers were some of the smartest folks I've been around."

"I worked for Vacasa for 5 years. it was a company that was always going through a new growth phase, this was exciting but also caused growth problems along the way. Compensation was an issue, but there were always chances to learn new technology."

"It's hard because I actually enjoyed my day to day work. It was always something different. Some days I was in the field in a home doing amenities and taking photos while others I was on my laptop writing up listings or entering the back end information into a listing. The company as a whole has poor direction and leadership. I don't mind the "fog of war" in a company too much but this was terrible, at least on a local level. It seemed nobody could make a decision so I just often made it and sank or swam (usually swam). Then, when it came to layoffs, I never got a termination letter. My privileges just got revoked. I had to text another employee to find out what to do and who to contact."

"My position as Business Development is salary plus commission. So in spite of performing at optimum level, the field is saturated here in Key West, hindering my ability to acquire new clients, and consistently achieve sales goals and of course commission income."
