What do you like about working at United Service Organizations?

"I enjoyed the opportunity of meeting new people and their families. I liked knowing that my programs and services made a difference in their lives. I ran two centers in a city totaling over 9,000 individuals. My employee base consisted of over 300 employees and volunteers. The support was phenomenal."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Know the background of the organization, be honest, and be yourself."

What don't you like about working at United Service Organizations?

"I didn't like being understaffed. I wrote to HR many times seeking out permission to increase the staff at my area so I could properly service the city."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would suggest that management get outside of their offices and reach out to the demographics and find out what they really want, instead of trying to come up with sensible numbers that make little sense ot the public. Find out what your consumers want and then deliver! That is what I did and I know the city welcomed the improvements."
