"A Research Assistant position is a lot of work and the pay is not very high. But if you truly enjoy the field you are researching in, then it can be worth it. The tuition waivers were helpful."
"I worked for the athletic recreation department for the University of South Florida while I was a sophomore. My overall responsibilities were to maintain the various public sports facilities. Cleaning dirt and sand off of the courts, replacing any broken nets, and cleaning trash was my average day to day. My time there was easy-going and never had any major troubles. All of the coworkers were nice, including my boss. The best part was how flexible they were with my schedule."
