"Good place to work and learn!!!"
"I have worked at the University of South Florida Physical Plant for a year. I was given the opportunity to work as a web developer, back-end developer to be more specific, and I think this was a great opportunity to get some professional experience. They have a wonderful staff, and their supervision could not be better."
"I have worked for the department for a year. It was a great experience assisting faculty and students in getting set up with software, computers, and joining the network. Overall, it was a great learning experience."
"A Research Assistant position is a lot of work and the pay is not very high. But if you truly enjoy the field you are researching in, then it can be worth it. The tuition waivers were helpful."
"Florida is a nice place for PhD. As long as you have a good professor, I advise you guys and if you don't like crowded city life, USF is one of the best. Florida is cheaper than many other states as well. And lots of nice beaches around where you can relax after overwhelming load of research work."
"I worked for the University of South Florida for about 2 years as an Undergraduate Research Assistant. It has been a great experience as I get to work in a laboratory, and do experimentation with chemicals and alternative designs. In my current position my lab supervisor allows me to develop my own method of synthesizing a polymer, and I find this extremely amusing as I am able to develop a hypothesis and test it."
"Beautiful campus, passionate professors and instructors, and high-impact, global research university."
"I've worked for this company since Jan-2013. It's a very good place to work and I enjoyed working here. Lot of things to learn, very-friendly working environment."
"I worked for USF Athletics since April 2013 after initially interning in a different department. The IT support department consisted of myself and a manager. Due to the lack of structure in the department it forced me to think on my feet and think critically to solve new problems."
"I've worked as a graduate teaching assistant for Digital Signal Processing course under Dr. Ravi Sankar. He is one of the most efficient and ethical professors I've met so far."
"Exciting place to work, helpful and supportive team, excellent environment to learn and get coached, good benefits."
"Its ok depending on who your boss is and whar building you're located in."
"Good places to work. Work and life balance maintained."
"Good university and a good palce to work"
"I worked for the athletic recreation department for the University of South Florida while I was a sophomore. My overall responsibilities were to maintain the various public sports facilities. Cleaning dirt and sand off of the courts, replacing any broken nets, and cleaning trash was my average day to day. My time there was easy-going and never had any major troubles. All of the coworkers were nice, including my boss. The best part was how flexible they were with my schedule."
