"I was intern for the APHIS office at the USDA in 2012. It was my first government office environment job. It was fun to get to know the other workers while I was there, and all of the supervisors in APHIS were wonderful people who strived hard to handle the issues presented to them. It was a very inspirational time and I was changed for the better in terms of work ethic and quality."

"Beautiful surroundings outside. Good benefits. A lot of variety in the work assignments."

"Any tips would completely depend on position being applied for, and who the interviewer might be."

"No privacy in the office - open office, not even cubicle. Too much red tape."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Get better organization and communication skills. Less micro management of employees."
