"The camaraderie, the get it done atmosphere, and high standards. I also like that the Air Force genuinely tries continuously to make life better for its people."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be sure to do it for the right reasons (i.e., you feel like there's a job in it that you'd like to do) and take the good with the bad. Your outlook changes from assignment to assignment--but it is all temporary. Usually no more than 4 or 5 years unless you want it to be."

What don't you like about working at United States Air Force?

"Too much pressure. Everything seems to be urgent--and the unpredictable nature of contingency operations makes planning free time difficult."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Focus on helping provide an atmosphere of balance for folks in the AF."
