"The non ability to see an opportunity or issue and only be able to suggest change without being able to fix it and move forward."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Listen to the staff that does the work. Based on that feedback you can validate and determine a direction for improvement opprtunities. Also, keep both staff and management team challenged. This will increase production as long as the goals and benchmarks are set with accountability being the key."

What do you like about working at US Oncology?

"Loved the physicians and support staff, loved the focus on individual patient care and support. Loved working on redesigning Ingenix/3M scrubber for accurate claims processing."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be diligent, you are helping patients (and their families) with the fight of their lives, make sure that you understand insurance/medical terminology/RadOnc/MedOnc, etc"

What don't you like about working at US Oncology?

"Lack of communication with Corporate offices, they didn't know me or my work when I was let go, so they didn't know I had built a 16 pg overview of how to deal with RAC audits coming from Medicare that could have helped them in the long run."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Better communication of what corporate is looking for, if I had know their focus I would have put in more time on those issues (in addition to my numerous projects AZ wanted from me as well)"
