"The thing I like the most about the Navy is its structure and the camaraderie among my fellow sailors and Chiefs."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Interviews are not really necessary. You just need to show up on time, clean shaven, in a good uniform and ready to work. You may be surprised how difficult a task this is for some people."

What don't you like about working at United States Navy?

"Working for the Navy often requires me to leave my family for long periods of time, i.e., 6 months or more. Sometimes it even requires months without any type of communication at all."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I am pretty happy with my management at the moment but I would advise them to stand by their decisions whenever possible. Constantly changing policy deteriorates the confidence employees have in their supervisors."
