"Standing watches, the very long hours with little pay and tough advancement."

"My managers were really cool and always encouraged me to push forward."

"Being able to repair aircraft, learning environment, seeing new places in the world, advancement based on ability and condition of your work and the ability to lead others."

"I would tell them to study hard because you will easily advance if you can just pass a test rather than being able to perform your job with great experience."

What don't you like about working at United States Navy?

"You have too many people that outrank you that have nothing better to do than to stick their nose where it doesn't belong. Micromanaged!!!!!"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"it was more about the mission than about the people. I would make it more for the workers while completing the mission, as best as I could."

"I loved the service, but felt I could do more in the civilian world."

"Get your degree first and go in as an officer, or enlist only under the conditions of ROTC program or similar officer's program."
