Retail Manager

"OCM Bancorp is not the right place for me personally for my career growth or where I can use all my skills and abilities to it's best for mutual benefit."

What do you like about working at US Bancorp?

"I am an independent worker and I have the opportunity to be productive and to be a support to the team in their production so as to meet the Company goals and their personal goals. I like the challenge to accomplish that without any marketing help and support from the Company and still be the top producing team."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Just use your own intelligence and do the research needed before making a comitment."

What don't you like about working at US Bancorp?

"The Company has a very different Philosophy regarding production and operation. So I think the choice is mine and I am choosing to look for a Company where I can use my expereince and skills to it's best ability."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The management has to have a method to check the daily operations of the Company and must hire competent and experienced people to supervise. We are not able to get hte Company to grow in production and gain any share of hte market . Instead the Company is just managing to exist and has been so for so many years it looks like. The upper management promises that they will try to improve where improvement is needed and very clearly understood, but they do not have the know how and willingness to bring about the change."

Sales Manager

"I could be biased due to the fact that I owned Affiliated Bancorp."

What do you like about working at US Bancorp?

"Being able to help people and establish new relationships. Being able to make things happen from nothing to something especially when others think they don't haven't a clue of hope."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Not really, but although I might not have corrugated experience directly, that one element should not disqualify me or anyone else per se' from submitting their interest in filling a position where they may untilize all other skills, knowledge and experience applicable in that position and hope there's consideration for the strong (areas) points they have, which can be sufficient to hire, then train them in the area they need to know. Learning curve is the measure of this approach. I learn quick and apply myself to the task above and beyond expectations. So pursue all opportunities."

What don't you like about working at US Bancorp?

"Being that it was my business, I was last on the totum pole. Not that I didn't like it, it just means the responsibility and burden to keep a livelihood for not just you, but others was sometimes heavy. Overall, not having people on the same page as you are when they lead you to believe they are."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Having a keen understanding of employee strengths and weaknesses, then being able to assist them on improving in their job application description. Have in place a good support system that will allow employees to increase their work efforts without burden and providing them the right and necessary tools and training to achieve their goals successfully."
