"I have worked for Urban Outfitters for 4 years now and have learned what it really takes to run a business in all aspects. I have learned how to market to a certain crowd, how to analyze sales from last year to push sales for this year, and how to effectively manage a team."

"I have been working for Urban Outfitters Inc. (Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters, and Free People) for 4 years. While there is a great culture at the company, upward mobility is difficult. Working across 3 brands can also be challenging because there are numerous stakeholders involved in every decision."

"I absolutely love the vibe, culture and the mission of Urban Outfitters as a company. I am very thankful for the skills that I was able to develop as well as the relationships that I built while with the company. As with all companies to some degree, the mission is not always maintained all the way down to a store level. The opportunity for growth and advancement seems to cap as you approach the level of store management."

"I have worked for the company for almost three years and I make a dollar more an hour than when I started. I started at minimum wage. My store manager is racist and unprofessional, yet she has worked for the company for seven years. Moving up is not based on hard-work and time, it is based on whether or not the store manager likes you. I used to be very passionate about the company and I strived to build a career at Urban Outfitters, but sales seem to be more important than a happy staff."
