"I love helping adults get the skills they need to succeed. I teach business and how to succeed, practical skills, good planning and good people. I work in the music and entertainment school so it's also great because most of the people there are doing something they believe in - it makes helping them so much easier and more fulfilling. The Ah-Ha moments make my day."

"Think outside the box - cliched I know, but anyone can teach, not many can do it well and those are often the ones who can think about possibilities as well as probabilities (and have fun while doing it)"

What don't you like about working at University of Colorado?

"I'm an adjunct, part time with no opportunities to change that. I would like more challenges and they're just not available."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Make sure all lecturers have lots of real world experience and get them out every few years to refresh their skills."

"I started working that Learning Resource Center in August of 2019. The position that I held there was a tutor for the mechanical engineering class. The overall experience that both the office staff and the other tutors gave was one of understanding and welcoming. It was easy to start a genuine conversation with everyone."

"Worked with the University of Colorado Denver for a few years now and have only switched to different departments for different job tasks. The culture here is very high and the staff here are really driven to getting their job done and are very friendly. The job is very flexible too if you are a student and are very open to letting you experience what you want to gain out of the job."
