"Flexible in most regards. Often times you can't get a straight answer from anyone when you ask a question and there appears to be no one who actually knows how to do things."

"Depending on your department, moving up may be easy or impossible and will often require a move to another department."

What don't you like about working at University of Northern Iowa?

"Often there is no guidance in what is expected, so you have to try and guess what they want, which is damn near impossible."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Be more open and communicate your plans, instead of forcing everyone to guess what you're doing or not able to provide any feedback and until it's far to late to change."
