"I enjoy working in higher education, but it is very stagnant with a lot of people who are happy coming in to punch the clock and leave without providing a sustainable amount of work. For those who are motivated, it's by their own doing as there are no bonuses or easily-made compensation raises. The longer you've been here, the more you get paid, which shouldn't always be the way it is when the longevity of your role doesn't directly correlate to your ability to do your job or be successful."
