"I enjoyed working at UALR (MidSOUTH) during 2000-2005. My office was in the Physical Plant. It was a joy to come to work most of the time...campus security was not the issue then, as it is NOW...I worked with the School of Social Work and it was a great experience."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't."

What don't you like about working at University of Arkansas?

"My recent experience working at UALR (College of AHSS) was awful. Parking was a nightmare. The restroom facilities were unsecured, dirty and mosquito filled during the summer. It was cold & uncomfortable during the winter months, as was my office! My boss was tyrannical, unpleasant, petty and contemptuous of the instructors he was there to assist. He was often extremely rude to the staff. Morale was very low during the 6 months I was employed there at the College of AHSS."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Campus security is woefully inadequate and security cameras are desperately needed all over the area. I cannot recommend employment at UALR to anyone."

"The fact that people who did not know how to make the changes were put in charge of making changes to a program that was not in need of change."

"For them not to be fearful of change, and replace the leaders who only had their best interests at heart."
