"I worked for United Healthcare for 5 years. I was incredibly impressed by both local and national leadership, and the company's core values. UHC truly lives its core values."
"The job was interesting and challenging for me as this was my first position within an insurance company. I was able to learn a lot very quickly and was running programs without any support of the project management team within 1 month. The only negative was the project management structure and not having enough work to keep me."
"I had a very interesting experience as it my first job in the insurance industry. My projects were varied from regulatory to process improvement to member satisfaction. Compensation and benefits were great. My only negative is the structure of the project management teams was unusual and resulted in insufficient work to keep me on the payroll."
"The overall compensation is good The lifestyle of Workplace environment is good The relationship with co-workers is good I would recommend strongly and great work place."
"I worked for United Healthcare for nearly 3 years. It is a good company to work for, you are a valued employee and the teams are wonderful to work with. Even though my position was eliminated, my manager still keeps in touch with me, as well as others. I think I made friends for life."
"I have worked for United Healthcare for over 1 year now. When I started this company's values lined up with mine perfectly. I loved the patient-centered care and I enjoyed the environment; even as a remote employee, I was able to feel like part of the group. Changes this year have been a little rocky but overall this company values their people. My supervisors were very supportive and encouraging."
"Culture is everything and that’s where this company has missed the mark for over 2 decades. Intense and very little celebration"

"Good company and best manager"
"The company in general has a lot of internal issues and red tap. Though it is a good company there are just too many manual processes to get anything done. The people are great however there are always conflict between other departments. They don't treat employees very fairly. Like most healthcare companies, they they have complicated systems and don't train new comers very well."
"United Healthcare is one of the largest companies in healthcare, It was listed number 20 in fortune 500. What I loved about the company was the opportunity to assist people in the community in educating them on the importance of health insurance and taking care of themselves. I had the opportunity to enroll them in health insurance and refer them to other resources available within the community. The company covers glasses every year instead of every 2 years. The gym memberships were reimbursed, which also helped clients to stay healthy. Since I worked from home the company provided everything I needed: laptop, printer, jetpack, scanner, office furniture. They paid mileage, base pay, plus quarterly incentives, and company polos. It was nice to know management was approachable and very supportive. The company is worldwide, so employees can relocate anywhere."
"It has been a pleasure working at UHCG for the past years. Their culture is superb and completely matched my beliefs. There’s plenty of opportunities and room to grow, their organization is excellent and they pride themselves to be very attentive to detail. I recommend to anyone looking for a great company to grow with."
"Great place to work with a great vision."
"Overall the company is fair to their employees"
