"Worked there for 6 years.....lots of turn over because of horrible leadership, Poor systems and procedures and LOTS of escalations. if you are not in management you are a slave and if you complain they WILL retaliate ! planned promotions! no diversity in senior leadership at all."

"This is a fast paced company growing at a phenomenal pace. You really need to be organized and efficient to get the job done. The company serves low income individuals and doesn’t turn away anyone needing healthcare. So it is a good feeling to be part of it."

"The AMS (application managed services) team is disorganized, poorly managed, and short of staff. The previous Business Analyst and Clinical Analyst roles have been combined into an impossible job description. This team has a history of meeting or exceeding all benchmarks until 2021. Despite meeting or exceeding the benchmarks the average raise on this team is 1.3 % annually with only 2 or 3 people getting anything higher. Only 4 or 5 people on this team will get any bonus money. Morale is an issue. This is a team comprised of 85% women with 2 women managers who are pets of the male Director/Manager who is a sexist, racist jerk. No room He has been reported to HR but doing that at UHG is a worthless effort as HR is staffed with most contractors. UHG has lawyers that only protect management. Corruption is rampant at this company and ethics are in the toilet. This is a company making huge profits for stockholders off the back of sick and infirmed people. Working remote is good but the stress of this place surpasses any benefits of working from home. Toxic, stressful, corrupt culture."

"I worked for UnitedHealthcare from 2010 to 2019. Pros included: flexible schedule, work from home, learning experience, people I worked with. Cons; constant changes with little communication, no or small increase salary and bonus year over year. Summary; UnitedHealthcare is a good company to work for and has taught me a lot about healthcare. I would recommend this company for someone familiar with Healthcare."
