"I worked for UTC for 15 years, and lived through numerous buy-outs. As a result of the buy-outs, the business environment and company policies change every few years. A significant effort was required to adapt to the workplace changes while still attempting to perform the job tasks. The company eventually closed it's local plant and put some 100+ employees out of work."

"I worked for GE from 2007 to 2010 and the work environment, compensation and overall experience was outstanding.However after being acquired by United Technologies in 2010 and going through 3 years of organizational restructuring, 3 business names, 5 CEO, 4 CFO without an actual business direction and turning a 3 billion dollar business into 1.3 billion resulting in a massive lay off of more than 400 employees and contractors, I to say I was very disappointed with the end result."
