"Easy work and lots of vacation. Coworkers are also pretty fun to work with at times. Not the people I'm constantly around but the deputy district attorney's that I work for."

"Have tough skin and don't expect to move up any time at all. Everyone at my position is capped at where they're at. There are no opportunities to move up."

"The people are completely crap at times. They definitely hired some duds and kept on some people that should have been let go a long time ago."

"Not too sure.... managing at the government level is very different from corporate. you can't just fire anyone that you think is doing a crappy job. I think I would take more of a stand on issues and instead of asking for group input about something I would just say that this is the way things are going to be. no ifs and or buts."

"This position would be favorable for those just out of law school or are taking the job just before retirement. For those who are in mid-career, it might not be the best choice because of the lack of growth within the agency. Nevertheless, the work is interesting and challenging, but the pay is unfortunately subpar."
