The organization is very ethical and has avoided the pitfalls that most other banks were guilty of during the sub-prime era. Also, the organization still offers a pension. However, technology within the organization is lacking."

"Working with a bunch of idiots made me feel real smart..."

"It's really a popularity contest, so smile and look good. Appearance is more important than knowledge."

What don't you like about working at Union Bank?

"Management really made stupid decisions, spending millions on projects not needed, while nickel and diming employees on salaries and raises. Bonuses were a joke at the discretion of the manager who rewarded who he liked versus who really deserved bonuses."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Cut the red tape. Give employees clear goals to achieve to get bonuses."
