Ultimate Salon Professionals Employee

"Poor company to work for. Constantly in your business. The owner allows the accounting manager to run the company to the ground. The accounting manager also intervenes with HR matters and tells the HR manager what to do. They frown upon any time off. Refused to allow anyone to work from home during the pandemic/school closures. The accounting manager then lies about this fact and fights every employee years later if they rightfully received Unemployment or Covid time-off pay. Stalking employee's personal social media pages to see what they’re up to and then writing two-page letters to the court listing how many times an employee has been to certain leisure venues, to try and get reimbursed for paying unemployment for a good work that they didn’t offer a Work From Home option to during Covid School Closures. The accounting manager questions anyone getting raises and tells workers who have been there almost 20 years that “they already make decent money for their age” when raises are asked about. The accounting manager tries to block certain employees from legally adding their spouses to their insurance benefits because she doesn’t believe it should be allowed being that they aren’t officially married. **There is absolutely no person of color in a high management position at USP. The most they give the many Hispanic employees that run that place are “supervisor” titles, while still micro-managing them. USP does unethical work behind the scenes with Amazon and eBay. They’re aware that their products are sold on these sites by their sales agents and others, but because they still get paid for it- they allow it and turn their heads, and when consumers ask about this- being that we are supposed to be exclusive-we are told to lie and play dumb. They treat their sales reps out in the field horribly with unrealistic expectations. Extremely arrogant Co-Owner that the sales reps have to answer to. Do not work for them unless you want to be talked about behind your back and discriminated against."
