"Good company, but the pay could be better. Training is good and people are friendly. Corporate could be more transparent with the business offices, but it is not a complete "out of loop" scenario either."

Nurse

"Stay away. If you value your sanity and your license/certification do not work for this company. Disorganized, never enough supplies, nurse and c.n.a overloaded with way too many complex patients. NO support from administrator. Not flexible if you need to be out for sick kids or funeral. High level of stress, anxiety, and drama on a daily basis. They have to offer more money for a reason, no one wants to work for this company and it is why they have so many open positions all the time. Extremely high turn over. STAY AWAY!"

"UHS Pruitt Corporation was a good company. However the positon I had was very challenging because they lacked current technology to be able to excel in the position I did. The CEO explained to me the company was experiencing server issues due to not having enough money in their budget to purchase enough memory for the servers I supported."

"Pruitt is a very unorganized, unprofessional and unethical place to work. The managers are trouble makers and bullies and instead of getting rid of the problem, they get rid of the employees based on what the management says. They have people in management positions that have no idea on what being a manager is or how to be one. This company is a click company, and that shouldn't be tolerated in the workforce. I enjoyed my job but hated the coworkers because they are trouble makees and immature.Drama"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Realize that working for them was a mission to help dying people. You were doing maybe the most difficult job both emotionally and phisically but you were made to feel you were never doing enough. There was a culture of blame and shame."

What don't you like about working at UHS-Pruitt?

"management held unreaslistic expectations of what a staff member could accomplish in seven and a half hours a day. No time for lunch. Phone calls while driving. Unbalanced case loads."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Not have unrealistic expectations of employees. Acknowledge and address obvious areas of employee dissatisfication."

What do you like about working at UHS-Pruitt?

"I enjoy assisting the elderly and making this difficult time in their lives easier and, hopefully, a little brighter."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't leave any job for this one - you will be sorry. If you desperate for a job, expect abuse if you take this one."

What don't you like about working at UHS-Pruitt?

"The current administrator is a bully. In the last 18 months over 35 nurses have come and gone - this in a facility with only 120 beds. Each nurse is given too many patients to adequately care for and is then criticised and bullied for not doing more. The administrator micromanages and yells at employees in front of others. The working environment is completely different when she is not there for the day. I have no respect for the CEO as he has to know the score by now, and refuses to do anything about the way his employees are treated. The constant change of staff is harmful to residents as there is no continuity of care. In this economy and in this small town, there are not many job opportunities and many can't drive an hour each way to take employment somewhere else. The treatment this woman dishes out to her dime a dozen nurses, to quote her, is disgusting."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Management does not listen. There is absolutely no reason to leave suggestions that will not be considered."
