What do you like about working at UCLA Health System?
"I worked in this lab during a summer and ended up publishing two prestigious articles in top medical journals including the American Journal of Physiology. The productivity of this lab was phenomenal. I would have never expected to gain so much experience and learn so much in such a short amount of time. This was definitely one of my favorite work experiences."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"The only tip I have would be to make sure management is appropriate and to better place people where they will succeed."
What don't you like about working at UCLA Health System?
"I somewhat disliked the work environment and teaching methods. Sometimes the p.H.D.s teaching students spoke limited English and it was very hard to follow and understand directions."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"The main suggestion I have would be to have a teacher who is clear and succinct in what they are saying. It's hard enough to listen to a procedure that takes a student 4-5 hours to conduct, missing a step will ruin the entire procedure, and thus learning the steps is vital!"
