"global food production company with opportunities in a wide variety of disciplines. Have had financial pressure from COVID-19 disruption in market and lagging performance of poultry sector due to over supply in market. Company is on its 4th CEO in 5 years which is disconcerting. Tyson has shown over time that it is willing to layoff white collar staff to show the street they are trying to improve profits."
"I’ve worked here a short time but great company and coworkers."
"Tyson is a large company where you lose much of the family feeling. If you are willing to relocate often, you have good opportunity to grow. My experience was good with the company, however, the priorities are skewed towards numbers over safety and family. I feel this culture is shifting, but they have a long way to go."
"I began my internship in June 2019 and have been able to learn and achieve many things. The team I work on is highly set on getting the job done right the first time as well as using all cross-functional team members as resources when needed."
"I have spent one year at Tyson Foods and the company has a strong culture that makes every employee feel at home and does not hold back growth from anyone. No matter what your position in the company is at the moment you always have the opportunity to grow and experience new things."

"Five Star positive people and environment"
"Poor management at Tyson Information technology, HR group (IS HR). I have worked with various groups in IT at Tyson, and most groups are either ok, or are pretty good. However, I have never seen such complete incompetence from the management like I see in IS HR team. Our management does not care or support their own people; we constantly have to deal with snobbish and at times degrading comments. We are being talked down to, as if we are misbehaving children, not adults. What’s worse, is that many of these issues have been brought up to HR’s attention by our team members, including a large meeting to discuss leadership issues. HR has yet to address any of these issues or help resolve any of these problems in our team. Our “leadership” is carrying on as it always has with no repercussions. My advice: if you are going to join IT team at Tyson, stay away from IS HR group. Join another IT team."
"They (Tyson) pride themselves on being a family oriented company and that may be the case for their office, dispatch, and plant workers. But for us drivers they could care less if we want to make it home for a weekend to see our families. And even if we were able to come home they get us home in the middle of the night Friday night to Saturday morning and then expect us to leave out early on Sunday. It's like why even bother to send us home at all. And I'm supposed to get my daughter every other weekend but end up barely even seeing her or spending much time with her because of the short time I am home and the fact that we gotta sleep some of that time too. They are not the company I thought they were going to be or even that they claimed to be."
