What do you like about working at TV Magic?

"The benefits package was fairly comprehensive and the over all work environment was more up spirited then most of the companies I worked with. I guess you might say Jeans in the office but Ties with the customer kind of environment. Conducive to creativity at times."

What don't you like about working at TV Magic?

"There was a lot of under current politics and a heavier Passive/Agreesive approach to dealing with a great many situations which seems to leave them short in the final review. The need to learn to give credit where credit is due. On at least one occassion they intentionally posted a design giving credit to an engineer that had nothing to do with the design while excluding the engineer that did the work from any recognition. If the issue is the posted engineer is employed while the true engineer is not employed by the company then they need to not post anyone's name ..."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"They need to review their approach to growth and their approach to employee load. They may even wish to review their use of 1099 contractors in order to save on overhead. They need to review their online credits and possilbly take all team member names off of the site so that it does not reflect inaccuracies or miss information when staff members change status."
