What do you like about working at TurboChef Technologies?

"I really enjoyed going to work well into the 2000's and thought they treated me very fairly. I was pretty much given total reign over the microwave development efforts, the vendor interactions, the choice of vendors for the components that were used in my systems, and 80% of what I considered absolutely necessary test equipment. The other necessary test equipment was leased as needed. I very much enjoyed working with the vast majority of the people there and I believe the feeling was mutual as I didn't have to give orders to anyone, but rather I just told them what I needed and we would work out mutual schedules that satisfied both of our needs."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Dress well and at all times be professional. Never let your guard down for a second come across as a very devoted and professional potential employee. Get all salary, perks, and benefits in contractual form and have a profession read your contract before signing on."

What don't you like about working at TurboChef Technologies?

"There are always some people who seem to devote their lives to making others miserable as they can. They spread rumors and tell lies, etc. - but that happens at all companies, I think. The lack of complements for a job well done, while they never missed and opportunity to tell you when you have done wrong."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Remember that people they manage are human just like themselves, and have the same basic responsibilities at home. I think much more unbiased thought should be given to discharging people from the company."
