"Worked at the corporate office in Dallas, in accounting for a year and year was too long. The CAO and managers are disrespectful of their employees. The CAO rules with a "DARTH VADER" attitude. Don't believe the story of they are trying to improve things. Too many meetings and nothing is ever resolved. Low moral, over short staffed and that was like that before they filed for chapter 11 due to COVID. Someone's hair is always on fire."

"This is a terrible company to work for. Corporate and management (GM and DM) do not know what they are doing. There is no plan for anything, there is no thought put in to anything. The schedule changes from day to day. They make it hard to have a life. The work load is extremely heavy for little pay. There's a lot of empty promises given weekly."

"our clientele, my coworkers,the work was not difficult, merchandising,part time"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be yourself. There is not really a mold for what type of employee someone should be. It is a simple job.Have good customer service, unload merchandise and keep the store clean."

What don't you like about working at Tuesday Morning?

"Part time means very few hours. They do have expectations that are attainable but sometimes difficult to complete because there were not enough hours for people. I think the regional managers and corporate people do not know or forget what it is like to work in the store.I did like it, but it is not a career I would like."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would let more employees have full time hours and benefits. I think that would make more employees feel important."

"Plenty of untapped potential for the company. Need more focus on broader number of customers."

"Focus on being cheap. The company is cheaper than Wal Mart with bonuses and pay."

"Too much favoritism. CEO is a premadonna who is so full of herself."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Stop focusing on the baby boom generation as your only customer. They are dying off."

"I liked being the supervisor of the QA Inspection team."

"If you can't work in extreme temperatures, don't apply for work in the Distribution Center."

"The immediate supervisor was a psychotic. Before I was put in the position of Lead Inspector, he had run through four others, in a three month period."

"Restructuring the QA department and giving more responsibilities to more senior members would be a good idea."

"Always having something to do. The people I worked with were very nice and kind."

"Ask for more hours if possible. Ask for overtime and ask to be on call."

"I was unhappy with the pay. I felt the work I did was worth more."

"I dont have any suggestions for the manager I worked with. Very well trained lady."

"Tueday Morning, Dallas, Texas is the store I managed.Upper management was there for support. They valued managers."

"I hated to leave TM but, I couldn't afford not to."

"The people are wonderful! The merchandise was fabulous. All in all a great company to work for. I miss it a lot. My supervisors were fantastic!"

"Relax, be yourself, and be honest."

What don't you like about working at Tuesday Morning?

"The salary. Other companies pay much more for the same sales volume and give more payroll hours which lightens the work load for everyone. My reason for leaving was due to my salary. On average the competitors annual salary was 10k higher per year for the same sales volume. That's huge if you live in NJ. For example my property taxes are 16k per year yet my salary was the same as South Carolina where property taxes are usually under 2k. It's a huge difference."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"You'll hang on to well seasoned managers if you compete with other companies salaries for the same sales volume."

"The people I worked with."

"I would not not work as a store manager. You will not be compensated for you long hours and hard work. More than likely you will be treated poorly by the district manager and corporate HQ."

"Lack of organization and not listening to the people in the field who know what is best."

"Listen to the people who actually do the job they are always trying to change."

"Don't close every store for two weeks twice each year."
