What do you like about working at TSYS?

"I liked that TDM was determined to advance its software development capability. The change was supposed to be from an anything goes approach to an SDLC with work & testing standards. Unfortunately, that attitude changed about 1 year before I left. I also liked the Right Steps system, which had both management and employees interacting to advance company goals and individual careers. I strongly recommend that TDM management read the comments in Right Steps. I liked the overall philosophy of the business unit management setting goals for IT."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"When you are there, take a look at the place. It is representative of what you will find."

What don't you like about working at TSYS?

"I didn't like abandoning SDLC. I also didn't like failing to use the information from Right Steps. I didn't like that some members of management consistently changed project requirements after a project had been being developed for months. The physical office environment was the worst I ever worked at. The carpets and walls were stained, the furniture was broken, and so forth."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Adopt standards appropriate for job performance for all members of the company and enforce them consistently. Either move or remodel the office."
