"Working for the Tivoli Bowl provided a lot of experience in a multiplicity of fields. Though initially the position involves working behind a bar, it extends greatly beyond that. The position includes working with both adults and children, teaching them and aiding them to bowl, fixing errors with the pin-setters and ball returns when necessary, managing stock and cleaning areas, managing the handling of the building when managers were away, and also helping and assisting customers set up and run large parties (up to 200 people sometimes). While the position provided great experience, hours became limited, and the hours I was provided were incredibly unsociable and with little way to move up in the company. I also had a very good working relationship with my manager and learned a great deal from him. Our relationship has developed into a solid friendship."
