"The company hired me to provide Design Services in order to help customers decide for the material to buy with the promise of great increase of customers which will be great to do better. Besides of being expensive in the market the options in display are good to make the sale, but the materials delivered are not the same quality and customers return a lot. Employees that don't know anything about tile are hired and they don't do nothing but breathe inside of the store and get paid for that."

"Management is way behind the times, the money is not there and the hours are crappy. It breeds stress and discontentment."

"As most retailers require, we worked nights and weekends a lot. Perhaps typical in commissioned inside sales but still bothersome, there were some unethical, cut-throat practices that management didn't want to deal with and therefore, failed to handle properly."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Management needs to remain approachable to staff. When management fails to make steps toward handling an ongoing problem or frequently shoots the messenger when employees request assistance, management loses a valuable source or information and the opportunity to make improvements in the future."
