"Working with many Smart People."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Insist on a formal and written compensation plan and enforce its parameters with management."

What don't you like about working at ThoughtWorks?

"The senior management is lacking in business sense and personnel development. The career advancement opportunities are limited. The benefits offered at the time of my employment were terrible and poorly managed. I didn't have a 'formal compensation plan' until 2 months before I left. There is a genuine deficiency where senior management and the business side of the company are concerned. They offer brilliant solutions to their clients, but fail to practice these principles 'in-house'. It makes 'conviction' in the 'client development' process more contrived. Additionally, there is an 'arrogance' amongst senior management, and that cultural aspect is not fully apparent until after you've been there a while. However, much of this is compensated for by the abundance and caliber of smart people working on the 'front lines'."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Get your 'business' in order. Focus on employee retention and support. PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH! End the 'purple circle' arrogance and get your own house in order."

Senior Consultant

"An excellent place to work, smart collegaues if you don't mind traveling"
