"Great work/life balance and the perfect place to work if you're seeking a global career."

"Thomson was a contract in NYC, and perhaps the last one for my career. Future placement will be with permanent opportunities being given priority."

"Overall, Thomson Reuters has been a good place to work. They have a culture that cares about diversity as well as your life outside work. Thomson Reuters also has shown that they aren't afraid of groups utilizing new technologies. One of the places that I feel they struggle with is balancing deadlines with taking time to write quality, maintainable, testable code. If somebody asked me, I would recommend working there if given the opportunity."

"I've worked for Thomson Reuters for almost four years. While it's a great company, I'm focusing on moving into a role in the marketing field. While I would love to remain in a role at Thomson Reuters, there currently aren't any available. I'm also looking to be challenged more. Challenge motivates me."

"I would never even apply for a position at Thompson Reuters. The direct people in the satellite office were easy going and intelligent, however everyone I ever met from a major office was incompetent. The upper management only wished to dictate how we should do things, without even considering the recommendations of the team nor even allowing us to investigate what a proper solution would be. These actions took a successful product to a canceled product after most of the customers abandoned us."

"Overall was a very good company to work for. Thomson Reuters technology had a history of hiring new talent and moving them up within the organization. Management level leadership were all very experienced and very close with their workers. However, recent losses caused by Reuters news has forced executive level to cut 30% of workforce and replace with contractors. Disconnect shows in executive level trends to cater to stock market trends rather than innovate."

"Being with the company for 15 years, The company has followed the trend of customer support being moved to multiple countries, whichever is the next cheapest, now looking to China. Clients' faith in our support has grown worse and worse each year. This includes internal employees' faith in the company. Additionally they are laying off their most knowledgeable staff."

"Thomson Reuters is a great company. They're huge! But sometimes that "hugeness" can be a detraction. Sometimes it's easy to feel lost in the process and forget why you are making the products. It's also challenging working remotely as most of my team is in London. As a company and team grow, they become more process-driven and less results-oriented."
