"What I like about thompsons is the low stress, and reasonable hours."

"If you are working a yard you are better off. Corporate office is a lot of hard work and you will have many more duties than what you are interviewing for. You will be managed at a level just above micro managed, and routinely asked by a higher up to take time out of your schedule to work on their things."
What don't you like about working at Thompson Building Materials?
"Working here you have more than one job title. I an often interrupted from my actual duties in IT to work on payables and other projects for my boss. This of course puts me behind in IT, then I am asked why I am behind by my boss."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Micromanage less, and hire a few more people to ease the workload of some departments/people."
