"This is a great job and a busy store. Unfortunately, the owner of this store,Jadd, does not handle the stress of owning a business well. There are many aspects to the job and very little training, yet you are severely chastised when you work with the information you have or have gleaned on your and the information turns out to be wrong. I do not recommend working at this store."

"I've worked for UPS since August of 2020. Coworkers are very friendly and helpful and I have a good relationship with my supervisor. Only thing I’m iffy about is I’m underpaid compared to industry average."

"I have worked for the UPS store since Aug 2019, it is one of the best places that I have had the pleasure to work for. The owner is very engaged and is concerned with the employees well being and is very easy to talk to when there is an issue. The other employees and I get along nicely and are willing to help when needed."

"Great place to work, especially for high school and college age students. Flexible hours, fair pay, and plenty of opportunity to learn about day to day business operations. Most customers are local and visit often, allowing for a friendly environment and a chance to build and sustain meaningful relationships."

"I worked for The UPS Store for over 20 years. It is a small organization, 300+ employees, supporting over 4,800 franchise locations. The work is challenging and fast paced, but supporting small businesses is fulfilling."

"The UPS Store Inc is a decent place to work. I really enjoy working with the independent franchisees and helping them become better business owners. The varying locations and people mean there's never a dull moment. The initiatives can be exhausting sometimes, and frustrating. Dealing with some personality types can be difficult as well. But generally I enjoy my job. The only thing that needs to be improved is the pay rate, as it's drastically low for the area. Other than that, it's a good place to work. Great for beginning a career in Account Management, and Area Operations Management."

"I’ve worked for this UPS store since 2019. The owner is a great leader. I’ve enjoyed my time at the store, but the hours are mostly part time and unfortunately I need to find a full time opportunity. I recommend working here!"

"Great organization to work for. They could improve on manning within local departments to assist with high customer traffic, but they employ great individuals; often providing jobs to students at the university level. Overall, I had a great time working for them as a Graphic Designer and Assistant Manager."

The UPS Store Employee

"The UPS store is a slow paced environment, perfect for people with a high school education. While it's slow, the nature of the job deals with other people's property and personal information. This means there is a level of human interaction and understanding one must have when working here. Often, there is a large amount of responsibility as one mistake can actually count as two or more. Unfortunately, customers often yell at you without understanding that you are simply a clerk, and don't control where packages come and go. The supervisors are seldom in the store and are often in a bad mood. Hearing about problems twice as much as well as not being able to do anything about them amounts to a large amount of stress. While it's a good starting place, it's certainly not a career."

"The job varies by store, as they are independently owned and operated. But even some of the standards and rules the store enforces cause customers to get upset and shoot the messenger, which would be you. Be ready to follow an impossible-to-follow guideline as nothing is written down anywhere. You can become pretty familiar with regular customers but that is one of the only silver linings in an otherwise dull, repetitive, and low-paying job."
