"I liked the opportunities it provided to further my education and get my degree. I also liked the variety in the work that I did for the first six years at the University."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"The only problem with the hiring/interview process is the length of time it takes. Positions are open and then remain open for months. You don't know whether you are being considered or not."
What don't you like about working at The University of Texas at Dallas?
"My last year of work was in a new department. The supervisor - who came from outside the University - changed her mind on a regular basis, forgot she assigned tasks, and could not discern between a personal assistant and an administrative assistant."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Training of supervisors. A fair hearing for all parties concerned when there is a problem.More professional development opportunities for staff. More scrutinization of the abilities of those hired for supervisory positions."
