"BAD higher management. Poor choices like terminating the jobs of longstanding employees discourages growth and loyalty, neither does poor pay. The longstanding employees TAI boasts started with their labs before they were bought by TestAmerica and they cut benefits and pay every year."

"Understand that your employees are watching you just as you watch them. Lead by example and make the environment more conducive to growth."

"The lab I worked for is losing staff and is not able to hire any one as a replacement, and has not given raises for the past 3 years."

"Don't bother, this company is no longer hiring and they expect 12 hours of work done within 8 hours with no overtime."

"At the end, I was put into an entry level job. After about a month, I mwas laid off."

"They need to have enough business to give people raises or close the Tallahassee Lab."

"Don't go. That is my main tip. It really is a deadend job. Not a career. A job."

"To summarize what it is like in TestAmerica, Inc. - Dayton: We live in America. The company is called TestAmerica. It is run like it is NazI Germany. The staff is oppressed. There isn't a career path. No raises. The 401k is not matched. The lab director writes up the employees for any and every little thing. It is really embarassing."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"No suggestions for management, however, I do have one for the board of directors: sell the company. Sell it to someone who wants to lead by example"

"Don't expect a lot of pay, but at the same time be ready to earn your pay and make great strides inthe areas of instrumentation and laboratory technique. It's a wonderful place to build your resume, and you might just find yourself staying for a long time."

"Being an Environmental Lab, the pat rate was relatively low; however, they allowed muchmore freedom throughout the work week and treated everyone like family. Truly a wonderful environment in which to work."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Don't take things too personally, when someone leaves for another position or becomes frustrated with lack of pay; the work atmosphere is second to none and the Managers have an awful lot to do with that."
