"You have to go through Sales for any internal opportunity and that is the only place that they recognize your work."

What don't you like about working at Teradata?

"long hours, don't get recognition unless you are a sales person."

"Promotions within the company and raises based on value, not on experience"

"The money and bonus is reasonable and I guess you get time to explore things."

"Be aware of the department you join and the manager and director you work with. This makes all the difference."

What don't you like about working at Teradata?

"The honesty and integrity of some management is quite lacking. An amount of consistent long-term vision needs to be communicated and followed. Employees should be treated as valuable assets instead of attempting to force churn by management actions."

"Trust your employees more and provide objectives and vision that is understood by everybody and be honest."

"Understand well the competitio in 2 fronts: Enterprise Data Warehouse (IBM, Oracle) and the DW Appliances (Netezza, DATAllegro)"

"Technology is a difficult sell due to price and required vision from C-Level"
