"Would not recommend this company to anyone. They have been going downhill for the last 5-6 years. Many people in management are not qualified and it shows. They are all about the numbers and could care less about the employees or customers. Doesn’t do any good to talk to management because they won’t listen. Training is nonexistent as they got rid of all of the trainers."

"Great company with great people. The company really cares about the customer and their needs. When something goes wrong, the team always meets and makes plans to make sure the same problem does not occur again. The company is also good at making sure that the workers are qualified and doing their best while also being understanding."

"Do not accept a sales job in the Northeast. Several people in both sales and management have been put into positions they aren't qualified for because their fathers worked for the company. Good equipment, unrealistic sales numbers to achieve and the worst management I have seen in my career. It would be funny if it wasn't so sad."

"I have worked for Tennant over 33 years. I worked my way up from a field service tech to manager over the years. I have learned many things as well as put myself back through school. I have had several managers over the years and was treated with respect and looked upon for help in many situations. I was part of the service organization and helped develop it to the nation's leading service operation. I enjoyed my time there. I would recommend it to any young mechanic stepping in to the equipment repair business."

"Management does not share information, leads by fear, and creates a stressful and unclear work environment as expectations and goals are not clearly communicated. After initial training, no coaching or development opportunities are provided and techs are expected to learn the ropes on the job while maintaining unrealistic call expectations. Senior management is non existent, provides no data regarding dept. goals, roles, or expectations."
