"I have worked for Telenetwork for 2 years and in that time, I was down graded to part time status without any knowledge. I thought that was very inappropriate."

"I've worked for Telenetwork for a few months now, and I must say the co-worker relations are the only good part about this job. They pay you minimum wage and commission to take calls from angry customers who you then need to sell to in order to make any sort of living. After so many months, the job becomes very depressing and you will not want to sit down to do the job anymore, because you know the inevitable angry cursing customer will come along, and there goes your happiness out the window."

"Telenetwork is one of those companies it's easy to get stuck at and that's not particularly a bad thing. Telenetwork is great when you are just getting into tech support or into Austin, you feel like you're part of a company the teams work together easily enough. The primary problem though, it's an outsource company which means you don't gain clout with any of the corps that they work for and your advancement options are limited. The pay overall is subpar for the work that you are doing."

"I have worked for teleNetwork since the beginning of 2013. The job was really nice when I started out because it was something new, I have never worked from home before, so I loved it then. But as things progressed and I started learning how things worked, I found that it was very hard to climb the latter in this company. The company never has any good promotions, and for all the stuff you have to go through for the customers, it seems the job is not worth it. The pay is way too low."

"It was satisfying"

What do you like about working at teleNetwork?

"I was able to learn. We had good training. Help was available. Encouragement for good was given. Good attendance and good work were rewarded."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"This is a good company to work for. I don't remember exactly what health benefits are provided, but I know they have some so that's always good. It is a fast paced environment with hundreds of incoming calls."

What don't you like about working at teleNetwork?

"Micromanagement and lack of communication with lead and / or supervisor."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Keep up the good work. Communicate more often with your employees."

What do you like about working at teleNetwork?

"I can work from home and raises are pretty easy to get once you get the hang of the jobs. I can personal browse, work in pajamas, eat while working, use my own computer with no monitoring."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Use this as an interim job; it is not great for the long term and any human deserves better for sitting around all day being screamed at for what the last tech did and the manager won't fix. Also, I do not make 30K a year, BlissFinder didn't have an option that went lower."

What don't you like about working at teleNetwork?

"You do not get a guaranteed break in an 8+ hour shift. L2s and Upper management are completely unresponsive, even when you have a legitimate issue. My current Team Leader seems to favor the employees who play games with him outside of work, and doesn't notice the rest of us. Most of us don't have the money to drop on MMOs and FPSs we aren't going to play outside of trying to get the TL to favor us. Not allowed to take a day off unless it is 3 weeks in advance; random weekend shifts get dumped on us with no warning or email if we are late or have to leave early. I may only work 40 hours a week avg, but with the high stress and no breaks, it feels like 60."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would allow my employees to have guaranteed scheduled lunch breaks, rather than use an automated tool that allows the Floor Manager to lock people out of breaks for the day arbitrarily. I would pay closer to industry standard --- I would start people at 9 or 10 bucks an hour. I would make sure that someone was on hand at all times to take supervisor calls, rather than a bunch of guys punting sup calls and leaving their employees on the line for long periods with furious, cursing, abusive customers yelling at them. I would make sure the procedure for sup calls was up to date, clear, and available to all employees. I would make sure that the procedure for additional sales was also up to date, clear, and available to all employees. I would automate passwords for tools using a wallet program for employees, available when they sign in, as well as automating metaframe programs. I would offer a more stable softphone program. I would make a tutorial available, or provide links and guidance to agents for writing their own scripts, rather than forcing them to rely on a few broken ones written by who knows. I would take the call load off of the L2s and place it squarely on L1s and Trs, leaving L2s available to provide advice and assistance. THey do not currently provide hardly any help to those new at the job. I use Google more than my teammates. Also, GUARANTEED BREAKS. If you can't afford to give your workers breaks, you can't afford to keep them employed. I WILL be leaving as soon as I'm afforded an opportunity. Also a little warning and information about the flooding in the Manila call centers would have been nice. Keeping your employees in the dark and tripling their workload and denying them breaks is not remotely considerate."

What do you like about working at teleNetwork?

"The ability to work from home was an advantage. However, you have to take into account you pay for your own equipment costs i.e computer and electric. So coupled with the low wage and ongoing running cost pay was below minimum."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Yes, don't go for the interview! if you have a dream or aspiration to be somebody don't apply. Seriously. This place is for drop outs or for desperate people in need. If that is you then proactively seek further employment whilst working here. There are no interview tips really as they employ anybody. They pay so low that they are grateful for any application."

What don't you like about working at teleNetwork?

"The culture of the company is poor. Their team-leaders use inappropriate threats in frontline staff. threats and low pay dose not boost moral and certainly doesn't make you want to perform well. They don't seem to understand that concept."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The frontline staff 9Tech support agents) are the most valuable asset of the company. Making illegal threats and low pay isn't going to make the company prosper for future growth. Employ team-leaders with the appropriate skills and qualifications in order to effectively a team. Thuggery is not a management skill."

What do you like about working at teleNetwork?

"The convenience of working from home and having a somewhat flexible schedule."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"They practically employ anybody, so if your interviewing for this job you have a 99% chance of getting the job. Turnover is very high."

What don't you like about working at teleNetwork?

"Very low pay for the sector - difficult to get any raises - inappropriate pressure and threats to keep calls short so unable to effectively troubleshoot some people who are not that computer literate and require more call time."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Team leaders there have no management skill's instead they use threats of getting fired or probation if call times are not kept low. For such a low pay job they should be thankful they have someone working for those sweat-house wages instead of making threats. Pay needs to be kept to par with the industry sector that way they will retain and attract qualified and professional staff. At the moment no one is motivated to perform well as low pay and threats isn't in anyone's book a good motivator."
