What do you like about working at TEKIA?
"The purpose of the company was to sell the company. In doing that we created a strategy of developing new products and patents. Accomplishing these goals was a major achievement. We had the new accommodating Intraocular lens CE approved in 2005 and the patent for the product was issued in July, 2012. Also worked on a new material and several other designs.I put together a presentation and we presented the company to several potential investoors"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Someone interviewing with the company should realize that the company is a private label manufacturer and does not have the marketing and other resources make the company different"
What don't you like about working at TEKIA?
"Since I was the only financial person, I did all the accounting work to save money to work on new materials and products"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"When the president presented the company the investors could see that he was building the company to sell it rather than presenting it as an on-going operating company that was going to achieve its growth potential."
