"Seek to communicate to your prospective employer those attributes that you may bring that you believe will add value to the organization. Be honest. If you are not a good fit, then don't accept the job. The decision will prove later to be a mistake."

"De-emphasis on the value of its people. When there are problems, the tendency is to attribute them to the people rather than flawed processes or preparation. I think this is a mistake."

"Too many to count. I lead a large portion of the organization and influence a larger portion. In broad fashion, I try to promote a focus on responsibility and authority driven from the lowest levels in the organization upward."

"My supervisor was located in another state, his supervisor was also located in another state, the communication between facilities was poor, excessive friction between manufacturing and the quality department, Manufacturing personnel were never disciplined for ignoring Quality department warnings and written nonconformances and corrective actions, the General Manager supported Manufacturing and not Quality Assurance."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Place a Quality Assurance representative at the facility that has the same authority as the General Manager."
