Submit a Review"I like working with computer software. I do not like the deadlines or dealing with the rigid processes in our company."
"I love being a part of everything going on within the company. I'm generally a part of every significant project. I get to participate in early requirements reviews and have input into everything from initial design to final implementation."

"I like having flexible hours, being able to walk to work, and working in a beautiful community"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"This can be a fun place to work if you're interested in what the company does. The boss however is a little bit rigid and tyrannical so don't apply if you like to have your input respected!"
What don't you like about working at Coastal Environments?
"The work is completely uncreative; the writing style is drier than a doornail. Creativity is actively discouraged. The boss is a bit of a tyrant. The goals of the company and my own personal goals are completely unrelated. To make matters worse, I don't earn enough money to get by nor do I have health insurance paid for by the company."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Hold staff meetings at least once a month and show employees that their input is valuable, perhaps giving bonuses when the firm gets a new contract"
What do you like about working at Institute for Defense Analyses?
"professional, good benefits, comfortable, collaborative, sometimes interesting, helpful, good reputation"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"You could not ask for a more professional place to work. However, it is still a bit of an Old Boys Club, where hierarchy is clear. The benefits are great, but not for those who might need money now or who like bonuses or raises that are 3%."
What don't you like about working at Institute for Defense Analyses?
"uncreative, bureaucratic, conservative, button-down, a knowledge that I am appreciated but I don't often hear Thank you, no bonuses, never significant raises, poor workers stay put"
What suggestions do you have for management?

What don't you like about working at Engineering Document Systems?
"Damn British UK asshole owners USE and ABUSE the employees so they live high on the hog (million dollar home in Spring Valley, top of the line Camry hybrid, Mercedes SUV, MinI Cooper, and spoiled rotten asshole son who did nothing to get all the perks withheld from the real employees)."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Stop being greedy selfish assholes who use the employees for your personal convenience!!! Also, you DO NOT take the prestigious assignment away from an actual employee and give it to your son who is Not an employee!!"

What do you like about working at Innovatia?
"I loved the work. The people were fantastic. When I wanted to move up to Editor, my team lead was more than happy to help me out and in no time I was an Editor. I gained a lot of great experience and made some life long friendships."
What don't you like about working at Innovatia?
"When I left it was because of the way I was treated towards the end. For the last 4 months I was there, I felt like I was being disrespected. I was not given straight answers to very simple questions. I felt like I was being given the runaround. People were becoming permanent while I was still a contractor, but I had much more experience and was with the company longer than some of the people who became permanent. When I asked for an explanation, I was not given one. Just told that it was a numbers issue. I got the same response when I did not get one of the Information Architect positions. Instead of explaning what I still needed for the position, I was told that it was a numbers issue and that they took 3 instead of 4. They did not help me by explaining what I could work on for next time. I was treated unfairly towards the end and that is why I left."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I gave my suggestions when I left the company."
