"I am a former employee. I was unfortunately part of a workforce reduction because of the automotive crisis."

"Be able to walk your talk. In my opinion, Tyco Electronics is a highly technical oriented company."

"Tyco Electronics was a great place to work when I was there. Work load was excessive at times because of the continued reduction of the most qualified and experienced hands on technical personnel."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Hire me back so I can continue my engineering career and contribute again to their success. Do not lay-off their most experienced workers. I know experience is costly; and by laying off ,is the quickest way to reduce cost short term. Please look at a longer term strategy to retain the knowledge base which I feel is the key to a successful recovery and future growth of the company."

"support staff in Wilmington was nice. Attorneys were full of it."

"Make sure if you go into the legal department, you know how to gossip and politic. Play the game well and you will succeed. Also, it helps to be the right color/race."

What don't you like about working at TE Connectivity?

"Too much office gossip and politics. Only 9 people there and they were clan-ish."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Don't hire your next Temp person, let them work for one year and nine (9) days and then tell them they don't know their job. Don't let insecure attorneys lie on support staff and dictate office policy."

"Determine what specific division you are interested in since Tyco Electronics has a number of companies under their umbrella."

"After the Dennis KozlowskI scandal, Tyco Electronics' credibility as an honest company, sales slightly declined during the accusations but later faded."

"Not a whole lot, Especially no support and you only get paid on your output. There is no pay even if the holdup is on their end."
