Executive Team Leader

"Target can be a great company to work for. With it being retail you have to expect to work at a minimum every other weekend and just about every holiday. The benefits provided are very good, solid 401k match (5%), health insurance and dental as well as many others including discounts through various vendors. With it being such a large company there is lots of room to move up, but at the salaried level expect to work 50 hours a week minimum and potentially more, especially during Q4."

Senior Closing Lead

"I currently work at Target, the second largest retailer in the united states. Started with them as seasonal team member and worked my up to become a Sr.Leader. Throughout the past five years with them, i have learned great values and learned how to manage my priorities and become customer focused and how to follow high ethical standards and set my team for success. At my role, I am the only leader in the building at the evening time and that has opened my eyes to greater responsibilities and how to be alerted to focus on emergency responses and communicate with my store director for any concerns. At my current role, I report to the store director and he has trusted me with his store and had me own the most two important metrics that made us lead the district with our numbers! I am looking forward to have more work/life balance and that is the only thing I cant achieve working with retail; therefore I am seeking different roles and opportunities. Target is a great company and constantly updates on all apps and techs we need to use in order to make our job seamless and easier."

"Target is an amazing, wonderful company that fosters an inclusive culture. I love the company and all who I work with but I definitely miss a smaller workplace setting. Target offers wonderful perks and benefits and I highly recommend anyone to work for them."

"I liked working at Target because it afforded me the agency to work solo as well as working with my fellow employees. I also liked Target's customer service policy, which allowed me to take my time with each customer to assure that they received what they needed to have a successful shopping experience. Note: This was a seasonal position, which provided no room for growth."

"I was hired by Target in March of 2020 amid the pandemic, and I was put to work right away. The supervisors sped up my learning process to accommodate the needs of our community (pick-ups, order fulfillment) to provide contactless services. I felt seen and heard, as my time off was almost always approved immediately—if not eventually."
